SUNDAY AT THE MUSEUM LECTURE SERIES
Topic: Publishing Print in a Digital Age
Guest Speakers: William “Dink” and Eric NeSmith
Remember the time when families shared the Sunday newspaper? First, Mom & Dad read the front-page news, then Mom enjoyed the Home and Garden section while Dad caught up on the sports news. Meanwhile, the young people shared the “funnies!” It was a family tradition that everyone enjoyed! For those of us old enough to remember those “good old days,” there is a lot of nostalgia and concern that newspapers are being replaced by cell phones and all things technology! Not so! … right here in Georgia, we have two men, a father/son team, who are making history with their skillful blending of the two forms of journalism paper! Join the Old School History Museum on Sunday, May 4, to meet William “Dink” and Eric NeSmith and learn about their “cutting edge” approach to modern-day newspapers!
As always, the museum’s presentations are free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Please stay to tour the museum and enjoy light refreshments after the lecture.
